From the Field to Human Performance
My passion for human performance began long before Coral Sea Health Performance was established. As a college baseball pitcher, I experienced firsthand the dedication, discipline, and preparation required to compete at a high level. Countless hours spent training, recovering, and refining my performance taught me that success is never accidental—it is built through consistency, intelligent programming, and continual improvement.
Those experiences sparked a deeper curiosity about how the human body adapts, performs, and recovers. That curiosity ultimately became the foundation for my career in sports performance and health.
A Foundation Built on Exercise Science
Pursuing formal education in Exercise & Sport Science provided the scientific framework behind the experiences I gained as an athlete. Studying anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, nutrition, motor learning, and strength and conditioning transformed my understanding of how effective training programs should be designed.
Graduate studies in Sport Science further strengthened that knowledge by emphasizing evidence-based practice, performance optimization, recovery strategies, and long-term athletic development.
Today, every Coral Sea Health Performance program is influenced by these principles, ensuring that coaching decisions are guided by science rather than speculation.
Experience in Elite Performance Environments
Working within professional sports environments reinforced the importance of precision, preparation, and accountability. During my experience with The Florida Panthers, I gained valuable insight into how elite athletes prepare, recover, and perform at the highest levels of competition. Exposure to professional performance systems demonstrated that success comes from the consistent execution of proven principles rather than quick fixes.
Those lessons continue to influence how every Coral Sea Health Performance client is assessed, coached, and supported throughout their journey. Whether training a competitive athlete or an individual pursuing better health, the same commitment to excellence remains.

Expanding Beyond Traditional Training
Performance is about much more than muscles alone—it begins with the nervous system. Through my work in neurological performance and Synergistic Pattern Retraining, I developed a greater appreciation for the relationship between the brain, movement, and functional performance. This experience expanded my perspective beyond traditional strength training and reinforced the importance of motor learning, coordination, balance, and movement quality.
By integrating neuroscience-informed principles with exercise science, Coral Sea Health Performance can provide a more comprehensive approach for individuals seeking improved function, confidence, and overall quality of life.
